Winter Molly Season 2023

Black Annis enjoyed a short but successful 2023 molly season dancing out three times. 5 January twelfth night wassail with Bare Bones border at the Rose and Crown Thurnby. 14 January Coventry City Centre joining Coventry Morris men in their Annual Dance Out. 28 January Mark Jones Day of Dance in Ely an annual event hosted by Ouse Washes Molly in memory of Mark Jones, one of their dancers. This event featured 11 sides dancing at various sites around the city concluding with a broom dance competition at the Cutter Inn. Thanks to the fabulous efforts of Kate and Stephanie, Black Annis won this competition for the third year running.
